Details Matter To Us
Unlike the typical choice of using plastic buttons on shirts, we have opted to use a more sustainable material - cork. Not only do our cork buttons give our shirts a natural look and feel, they are also completely biodegradable.
The Sustainable Choice
Our linen is dyed naturally to give it luxurious pigmentation. Despite being the more expensive option, dying our linen naturally provides two major benefits; allows us to completely eliminate harmful chemicals in our manufacturing process that can be harmful to both people and the environment, and secondly enables better breathability of our shirts since the chemicals often used to give the linen its colour take away the linen's prime purpose, its breathability. Therefore, by choosing to naturally dye rather than dip-dying our shirts they remain fit for purpose, keeping you cool in hot climates whilst also being conscious of our world.
Award Winning Manufactures
We create the highest quality products that are made to last by working closely with our GOTS certified manufacturer in Portugal. Psamathe screens all suppliers and factories throughout the supply chain to make sure they align with our brand values.
100% Organic Italian Linen
We source the highest quality of linen from the Piemonte region of northern Italy. The natural flax fibres are woven into a basket-weave composition, giving beautiful colour and shine to the material. Linen fibres are hollow and naturally move air and moisture, making it a perfect fabric for warmer climates. The whole of the plant is used in this process resulting in no waste and therefore making it a very sustainable fabric of choice.
